Saman Amir is a consultant with Social Development Unit (SAR), based in Washington DC. Her work focuses on gender equality and female labor force participation. Prior to joining the Bank, she has worked on gender equality and social inclusion in Pakistan, Indonesia and Burkina Faso.
She holds a bachelor’s in economics from Lahore University of Management Sciences and a master’s in international development studies from the George Washington University.
