Samra Shaibani joined the Bank in November 2003 as Senior Communication Officer. Prior to that, she worked with the Yemeni Government, donor and non-government organization. She gained experience in building and forging alliances between development partners. Samra holds a BA (Hons) in Government from the University of Central England, in Birmingham, and a one year Certificate from the Development Planning Unit, University College, London, in Gender Policy and Planning.
