Samuel Kimeu is the Executive Director of Africa’s Voices Foundation (AVF). He previously served as the Executive Director, Transparency International-Kenya (2010-2020) and the Kenyan Section of the International Commission of Jurists (2005-2006). He was the Governance Specialist at the Embassy of Finland in Nairobi (2007-2010) and taught law at the Kenyatta University School of Law in Nairobi-Kenya (2009-2010). He is an advocate of the High Court of Kenya and holds a Master of Laws degree in International Human Rights Law from the University of Notre Dame in Indiana, USA. He received his Bachelor of Law degree from the University of Nairobi. He is a member of both the Law Society of Kenya and the East African Law Society. Mr. Kimeu is currently serving his first term as an elected member of both the International Board of Transparency International (Elected in October 2017) and the African Union Advisory Board on Corruption (Elected in July 2019)
