Sandra Segovia is a Consultant for the Poverty and Equity Global Practice at the World Bank. She previously worked as an ETC Economist for the Global Solutions Group (GSG1): Data for Policy Analysis, and the Latin America and Caribbean Team for Statistical Development. Her main areas of expertise include welfare measurement, data innovation, statistical learning, small area estimation, and micro-econometric analysis on poverty and labor markets. She holds a M.Sc. in Economic Theory from Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM), and a M.A. in Economics from the University of Minnesota.
