Santiago E. Arias is from Argentina, where he studied Political Science and Architecture, both at the University of Buenos Aires (UBA). He earned a Fulbright Fellowship to study a MS in Urban Policy Analysis and Management at the New School in New York City, specializing in urban development and public policy. Currently, he works as Transport Specialist for the World Bank working on urban development and transport projects in Argentina. Previously, he worked at the Department of Urban Planning of the City of Buenos Aires, and as a consultant on urban development for local governments and real estate developers. Santiago is a teacher and researcher at the School of Architecture, Design and Urbanism (UBA), and has authored articles about strategies for access to land and housing, sustainable mobility and urban governance.
