Sara Johansson de Silva is a consultant whose research interests center on the role of jobs, skills, and social protection in promoting inclusive growth. She has been extensively involved as lead or co-author in the World Bank's policy work on labor markets, human development, and poverty in developing countries, particularly in Africa and Eastern Europe. She also provides technical support to strategy formulation, project implementation and project evaluation, to a number of bilateral and multilateral donor organizations. Sara previously worked as an economist at the World Bank in Washington, DC, and the Organization for Cooperation and Development (OECD) in Paris. She holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the Stockholm School of Economics.
