Sarosh Sattar is an economist at the World Bank. She is the Regional Gender Coordinator for the Europe and Central Asia Region. She received her Ph.D. in economics from Cornell University. She has worked at the World Bank since 1991 as an economist with extensive experience in the Middle East and North Africa prior to joining the Europe and Central Asia region. She has a diverse background and, in addition to gender issues, her work encompasses macroeconomic analysis, social expenditure analysis, labor market analysis, and poverty issues.
