Satyajit has over 25 years of private, public, and international development sector experience with specific domain expertise in digital government, digital development, and digital transformation. In his current role as a Digital Identity Expert with the World Bank’s Identification for Development (ID4D) initiative, Satyajit has supported the design and implementation of foundational digital ID programs in developing countries across Africa, including linkages with civil registration systems and social protection programs. Satyajit has done Computer Engineering from India and has obtained his MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management. He is also a recipient of Fellowships from the UK Government’s Chevening Program for Leadership and Excellence and the MIT Legatum Fellowship for Development and Entrepreneurship.
