Saulo works at IFC, focusing on banking data. A native of Brazil, he coordinates data activities related to Micro and SME data collection, analysis and modeling. His areas of interest include macroeconomics, trade, finance, education, poverty, and the environment. He is currently a board member of Iracambi, an NGO working on Atlantic Forest restoration and community development. Prior to joining the World Bank Group, Saulo worked at the United Nations and the Grameen Foundation as well as in banking in the private sector. He holds a Master of Science degree in Applied Statistics, a Master’s in Business Intelligence, and a Bachelor’s in Computer Engineering.
