Dr. Scott Stewart is the Senior Health Economist in USAID’s Office of Health Systems, Bureau for Global Health. There he leads a multidisciplinary team that assists partner countries to mobilize and use health system inputs with greater efficiency, effectiveness, and transparency. Dr. Stewart has designed and led a succession of integrated health system strengthening projects with global coverage, emphasizing health finance, health system governance, and recently health service quality improvement.
