Sean Ding is an External Affairs Officer with the Women Entrepreneurs Finance Initiative (We-Fi) Secretariat, housed in the World Bank. Previously, he worked as a communications consultant for World Bank programs on entrepreneurship, innovation, and competitiveness.
Before joining the World Bank, Sean led a marketing and policy research consultancy based in Washington DC. Sean also worked as a senior associate at The Carter Center, where he served as former US President Jimmy Carter’s assistant on China.
Sean studied marketing and corporate social responsibility at the Goizueta Business School at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, where he earned his MBA. He also holds a master’s degree in political science from Georgia State University and a bachelor's degree in Arabic and international affairs from Beijing Foreign Studies University.
