Sean Hambali is a Research Analyst at the World Bank’s Poverty and Equity Global Practice. He is also concurrently working as a Research Assistant at the Institute for Economic and Social Research, University of Indonesia. His research interests include the issues of social and gender inequalities, as well as the role of economic policies in promoting rural as well as micro, small and medium enterprises (MSME) development. He has published several journal articles and book chapters along these topics, and on the role of digital economy in alleviating economic inequalities as well. Sean holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Indonesia.
