Sebastian is an Agriculture Analyst at the World Bank supporting operations and analytics that focus on strengthening food system resilience and food security in West Africa. Before joining the World Bank, he worked for the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) in Beijing and the NGO Grow Asia in Singapore on climate-smart agriculture and biodiversity conservation. Sebastian holds a master’s degree in Sustainable Resource Management from Technical University Munich with a focus on environmental economics and soil science.
