Sebastian Veit is an Investment Officer with IFC’s Structured Products Group, where he originates and executes investments in asset-backed securities, tokenized bonds, debt funds, and synthetic risk transfers.
Since joining IFC in 2017, he has led and supported transactions in thematic areas such as gender, climate, and digital finance; pioneered product innovation in sustainable and digital finance—including IFC’s first investments in digital-native bonds; and contributed to strategic initiatives across the World Bank Group.
Prior to IFC, Sebastian worked with governments, banks, and cooperatives across multiple countries to advance financial inclusion, responsible finance, and SME banking, and also founded a start-up. He holds an MBA from Mannheim Business School.
