Sergiu Conovalu is a consultant at the World Bank’s ICT Unit. His expertise lies in e-Government, ICT policies and Cybersecurity. Prior to his employment at the World Bank, Conovalu worked in the defense sector as an engineer in information systems management and as a policy analysis specialist.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering from the Military Technical Academy of Bucharest and an executive master’s degree in public administration from Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs of Syracuse University. He also holds a certificate of advanced studies (CAS) in e-Government Management and Leadership from the School of Information Studies of Syracuse University and a CAS in security studies from the Institute for National Security and Counterterrorism.
