Sevilya Murodova is a consultant for the World Bank’s Poverty and Equity program in Central Asia. Her areas of expertise include local development, migration & refugees, gender, and employment. Sevilya is a team member in the Mobile Engage program, the Listening to Central Asia surveys, and the Effective Governance for Economic Development program in Central Asia. Before joining the World Bank, Sevilya worked as a Senior Advisor at the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) focused on economic policy and migration. She holds an MA in Political Science from the OSCE Academy and a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Ankara.
