Shaanti Kapila is a Senior Operations Office working on the World Bank’s Global Environment Facility (GEF) coordination team in the Environment, Natural Resources and Blue Economy Global Practice. She joined the World Bank in 2012 and has worked since in support of the Bank’s efforts to effectively utilize trust funds to help clients tackle climate change and pressing environmental challenges. Shaanti holds an MA in International Relations from Yale University and a Bachelor’s degree from Duke University.
