Sharanya Ramesh Vasudevan is an Education Consultant in the World Bank’s Education Global Practice. She has worked on operations and analytical work in South Asia, Europe and Central Asia. Her work focuses largely on teacher professional development, strategies to increase learning outcomes and governance and service delivery in primary and secondary education. At the World Bank, she has also worked on programs addressing early childhood education and school learning environments.
Prior to joining the World Bank, she was a primary school teacher in India and has further worked as a curriculum development consultant with the Aga Khan Foundation and UNESCO. She holds a Masters degree in International Education Development from the University of Pennsylvania.
