Shaun Mundy is a financial capability consultant with the Finance and Markets Global Practice, the World Bank Group. Shaun has provided advice in around 15 countries, mainly to support the development and implementation of national strategies on financial literacy. From 2003-2007, Shaun led the development and implementation of the UK's national financial capability strategy: he led a team of seventy staff and managed an annual budget of $30 million. Prior to that, Shaun held a number of senior positions in UK financial services regulators. His earlier career was spent in the UK Home Office and Cabinet Office. Shaun has an MA in Economics and Politics and a Diploma in Criminology, both from Emmanuel College, Cambridge University.
