Shavkat Rakhmatullaev is a water resources management specialist at the World Bank based in Uzbekistan. He has more than 15 years of professional experience in water management, hydrology, and sustainable development in Central Asia across sveral international developmnet organizations. He has over 15 international peer reviwed arcticles. He holds a Bsc in Watershed Scince from Colorado State University (USA), a MSc in Hydraulic Enginnering from Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Melioration (Uzbekistan), and a PhD in Environmental Sciences from University of Bordeaux-1 (France).
