Shiqing Li is a researcher with over 6 years of experience in providing high-quality analytical, advisory services, and operational support to WBG’s engagement in health sector in less developed countries. She joined the Bank in 2015 and she has been directly involved in several lending projects, ASAs and RASs in Sub-Saharan Africa, Middle East and Europe and Central Asia. She has also gone on multiple missions to Sierra Leone, Liberia, Senegal, and West Bank and Gaza, providing operational and analytical support and liaising with internal and external stakeholders. She has proven strengths in conducting advanced quantitative & qualitative analysis and presenting results to GP management and counterparts outside the Bank. Her sector experience includes human capital development, health, nutrition, and water and sanitation. Prior to joining the Bank, she worked at Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene in Baltimore as a policy analyst. She holds a master's degree in Public Policy from Johns Hopkins University.
