Shoghik Hovhannisyan, an Armenian national, joined the World Bank Group in 2010. She currently works for the Sector Economics and Development Impact Department at the IFC. Shoghik holds a Ph.D. degree in Economics from Boston College and a MA degree in International Development Policy from Duke University. She specializes in migration, growth, informal economy, and other areas of macroeconomics and labor economics.
