Shreya Dutt Mishra is a Data Scientist at the Poverty and Equity Global Practice at the World Bank based in New Delhi, India. She has been working on statistical capacity building and data modernization operations in India and regionally since 2018.
Prior to joining the World Bank, Shreya held positions at the Indian School of Business (ISB) and the Cabinet Secretariat, Government of India. She was instrumental in implementing government-wide performance management systems at the national level, providing technical assistance to sub-national, and advising other countries on the design and implementation of similar systems. Her work has focused on enhancing statistical capacity, modernizing public data systems, improving service delivery, and leveraging technology and data for better planning and policymaking.
Additionally, she has contributed to several analytical products and advisory services throughout her career. Shreya earned her Ph.D. from the University of Delhi and her master’s degree from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
