Shunelle is the subject matter expert and was the project manager of the Safe Passage: Safe Routes to School Project at the Jamaica Social Investment Fund located in Kingston Jamaica. She is an Urbanist that specializes in Community & Social Development with a focus on urban redevelopment. She is passionate about addressing social inclusion of the poor and vulnerable through access to basic services and educational resilience. Shunelle has a bachelor’s degree in Urban Studies and a master’s degree in Urban Affairs both from the City of University of New York: Queens College. Additionally, she is also a certified Project Management Professional & accredited member of the Congress for the New Urbanism which promotes the creation of walkable, mixed-use, and sustainable places for all.
