Shweta S. Banerjee works on the Microfinance Gateway which is housed at the Consultative Group to Assist the Poor (CGAP).
Previously she worked on the Global Assets Project, at the New America Foundation, advocating innovative savings products and services. She has also worked for over two years at the World Bank’s South Asia Region, on rural livelihoods projects where she undertook qualitative research, project development and communications.
Originally from India, she studied Social Anthropology at the University of Chicago and at Cambridge University, UK.
