Shyam KC is a Senior Water Resources Management Specialist with the World Bank Global Practice. He has worked in the World Bank since 2007 – in the Eastern Africa, East Asia and the Pacific, and South Asia regions. His career in development began as a water engineer with the Government of Nepal. As a Fulbright fellow and student of development sociology, he studied the relationship between development and conflict for his masters and the relationship between society and infrastructure for his doctorate. He is currently leading the World Bank supported Nile Cooperation for Climate Resilience Project.
