Shynar Jetpissova is an External Relations Officer for Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan. Her work entails operational and strategic communication at the country level, including political economy analysis in support of reform implementation. Before joining the World Bank in 2011, Shynar worked as a communications associate in the United Nations Development Programme in Kazakhstan for several years. She holds BAs in Financial Management and English, and a master’s degree in development policies and Practices from the Geneva Graduate Institute.
