Simeon Sahaydachny is a U.S. attorney and an international consultant to governments, international financial institutions, trade and regional economic integration organizations, and development institutions on assessment, modernization, and capacity building of public procurement systems, as well as various areas of commercial law (e.g., e-commerce, arbitration). He has contributed to the preparation of procurement legislation and the development of government procurement systems in numerous countries. He formerly served as Senior Legal Officer with the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law, where he contributed to the development of widely adopted texts including the UNCITRAL Model Law on Procurement and the UNCITRAL Model Law on Cross-Border Insolvency.
