Soazic Elise Wang Sonne is an economist with the Health, Nutrition and Population (HNP) Global Practice of the World Bank Group in Washington DC. Prior to that, she was a Young Professional and Africa Fellow with the Fragility, Conflict and Violence (FCV)/Social development unit of the World Bank supporting forced displacement research projects in East Africa. In her current role as an economist in the West and Central Africa unit of the HNP GP, she is supporting health systems strengthening projects and contribute to the health financing agenda in Fragile and Conflict Affected settings. Elise’s research has been published in Oxford Development Studies and the Journal of Development Effectiveness.
