Solène Rougeaux is Senior Social Protection Specialist in the Social Protection and Jobs Global Practice in Europe and Central Asia of the World Bank. Over the last ten years, she has mainly worked on social safety nets and labor programs in West Africa. In addition to managing operations in Côte d’Ivoire, Benin, and Senegal, she led a range of analytical activities on the informal sector, adaptive social protection, childcare, the demographic dividend and public expenditure. Prior to joining the World Bank, Solene managed large development projects for different NGOs in north, west and central African countries. The projects she managed focused on primary health care, community development, and access to justice. Solene holds a Master of Business Administration from Warwick University and a Master of International Public Law from the London School of Economics
