Sotaire Kwizera is a Development Data Analyst at the World Bank's Development Economics Data Group and a Master of Development Practice candidate at the UC Berkeley Goldman School of Public Policy. His work involves harmonizing and analyzing country-level microdata to strengthen the Bank’s measurement and monitoring of global poverty and inequality. His recent project focuses on profiling the global poor: who they are, where they live, and how their circumstances are shifting across dimensions such as education, rurality, age, and gender as well as over time.
