Steven supports the Global Program on Nature-Based Solutions for Climate Resilience. He has worked with analytical and operational teams in the Bank’s Global Practices on Urban, Disaster Risk Management, Resilience and Land; Water; and the Environment. Before joining the Bank, he served as an environmental scientist in the United States and abroad, researching topics such as nature-based solutions for coastal protection, coral reef resilience to climate change, and the long-term effects of pollution on coastal ecosystems. Steven holds a Master of Science degree in Marine Systems and Policies from the University of Edinburgh.
