Steven Webb has worked for World Bank for 23 years as economist and advisor, as a staff member and as a consultant since retirement in 2009. He has worked in research, evaluations and operations, in Latin America, the Caribbean, and other regions. His specialties include political economy, decentralization and public finance. Since 2005 he has led the Bank’s research utilizing the limited access order framework to understand the problems of development.
