Su Jung Song is an Urban Specialist at the World Bank with over 10 years of operational and research experience across Africa, Latin America, and Asia.
Since joining the World Bank in 2016, she has designed and implemented a diverse portfolio of investment operations and analytical engagements, supporting client countries in addressing complex urban challenges. Her areas of expertise include urban infrastructure and service delivery, municipal finance, urban planning, urban resilience, and results-based financing.
Prior to joining the World Bank, Su Jung worked with an international non-governmental organization and an environmental research institute, focusing on disaster risk management and climate change adaptation.
Su Jung holds a master’s degree in Environment and Sustainable Development from the Bartlett Development Planning Unit at University College London, and a bachelor’s degree in Architecture from Yonsei University.
