Sumit Manchanda is the Program Manager for Public-Private Dialogue with the Trade & Competitiveness Global Practice of the World Bank Group. In this role, he has spearheaded the application of PPD into new subject matters, such as Climate Change, and he has overseen the increased application of PPD mechanisms in T&C projects as being central to good project design. He recently co-authored a publication on PPD in Competitive Cities, and he led the drafting of “Principles for Dialogue on Climate Action” in partnership with 12 other global partners. The principles were launched and published in May 2016 with endorsements from 10 global partners. Prior to his current role, Sumit co-led the advisory work on Special Economic Zoness at the World Bank Group.
