Sunčica is an External Affairs Consultant at the World Bank in Croatia. She has been working across all areas of the country program since 2019, with a focus on the Croatia technical assistance (RAS-Reimbursable Advisory Services) portfolio and social media, and promotes the results of the programs with internal and external audiences. Prior to joining the World Bank, she worked for the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), Croatia, where she coordinated all media aspects connected with the UN and UNDP; for the Urban Institute on a USAID-funded project promoting decentralization and local government reform in Croatia; and for the Croatian Audiovisual Center (HAVC) promoting Croatia as a location for international film and TV production. Sunčica also worked on a number of EU-funded projects for Médecins du Monde and Expertise France.
A Croatian national, she holds a Master’s degree in European Studies from the College of Europe in Bruges, Belgium, and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, where she graduated French Language and Comparative Literature.
