Suneira Rana currently works on water, governance and climate related issues at the World Bank. She is working on projects and analytical studies related to water and sanitation service delivery, governance and the water-climate nexus. Previously, she worked on East Africa clean water initiatives at Evidence Action, an organization that scales proven development interventions that have their genesis in randomized control trials. She has also worked on financial inclusion projects for CGAP in India, operations and implementation for a clean water enterprise - WaterHealth in India as well as sustainability and responsible sourcing for Unilever in London. Suneira holds an undergraduate degree in economics from Lady Shri Ram College, Delhi University, a masters degree in business from Cambridge University and a masters degree in development economics, policy and management from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
