Sunghoon Chung is a Senior Economist in the Development Research Group at the World Bank and a Research Fellow in the Department of Industry and Market Policies at Korea Development Institute (KDI). His research interests include international trade, environmental economics, and development economics with a particular focus on Asian economies. His works has appeared in journals such as Journal of Development Economics, European Economic Review, and The World Economy. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Southern Methodist University.
