Dr. Sunita Chaudhary is an Ecosystem Services Specialist at International Centre for Integrated Mountain Development (ICIMOD). She is responsible for research, policy inputs, capacity building and advocacy of evidence-based policy for sustainable development of Hindu Kush Himalaya. Her applied and interdisciplinary work focuses on human-nature interactions with an aim to find solutions for a sustainable region where humans respect and live in harmony with nature. Dr Chaudhary is an established forester with more than a decade experience on natural resources management in Australia, Austria, Cambodia and Hindu Kush Himalaya. She has a PhD from Macquarie University, Australia; MSc in Management of Protected Areas, Austria; and a graduate leadership program from the University of Hawaii, USA.
