Sunita Varada is a Senior Private Sector Specialist in the World Bank's Finance, Competitiveness, and Investment Global Practice, for Eastern and Southern Africa . She has over 15 years of experience with the World Bank. Prior to leading the private sector development agenda in Angola, she led programs in Ukraine, Kosovo, Moldova, and Belarus in areas such as competitiveness and enterprise development. Sunita also led and contributed to private sector development projects in Latin America and the Caribbean and worked as Special Assistant to the Vice President on Equitable Growth, Finance, and Innovation. Her work focuses on SME development, competitiveness, innovation, value chains, business regulations, and access to finance.
