Susan Zhu

Professor of Economics at Michigan State University

Susan Chun Zhu is a Professor of Economics at Michigan State University. She was a visiting scholar at IMF (2008), research fellow at Hong Kong Institute for Monetary Research (2015), and a guest professor at Lund University in Sweden (2018). She has served on the editorial board for Canadian Journal of Economics (2008-2010), and Frontier of Economics in China (2011-present).

Her research focuses on issues related to international trade. Her main research interests include the impact of trade on wage inequality and worker mobility, and how financial constraints may affect firm export and supply chain participation.
