Susanna (Lundstrom) Gable joined the World Bank as a Senior Economist in 2007; in the PREM Poverty Reduction group and the PREM Economic Policy and Debt Department. Lately she has been working as a consultant for numerous departments within the World Bank. Her work has focused on cross-country as well as country-specific economic growth analysis with particular attention to inclusive growth, growth diagnostics, economic transition, trade, investment climate, public expenditures, and poverty reduction. Prior to joining the World Bank she worked as a Senior Economic Growth Advisor at the Swedish Development Cooperation Agency, Sida. She graduated with a PhD degree from University of Gothenburg where she also worked as Research Fellow. Her research focused on the interaction between economic reforms, political freedom, and economic growth.
