Sven Schlumpberger is a Young Professional in the World Bank’s Water Global Practice and currently focuses on water sector reform, utility strengthening and turnaround, and water resource management in Eastern Europe. Sven has worked in the water sector for seven years and has deep technical expertise in water desalination. He has been with the World Bank for nearly 2 years. Previously, Sven worked in the private sector with a focus on vehicle exhaust treatment systems. Sven holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering with a focus on water desalination and a minor in economics and finance.
