Svetozara Petkova is an attorney-at-law, member of the Sofia Bar. She is engaged in a number of World Bank projects in Central and Eastern Europe as a researcher specializing in the areas of justice reform and civil procedure law. Previously, Ms. Petkova has worked as Rule of Law Advisor for the United States Agency for International Development and as Staff Attorney for the American Bar Association’s Rule of Law Initiative in Bulgaria.
Ms. Petkova has a Master’s Degree in Law from Sofia University, Bulgaria and an LL.M. in International Economic Law (with distinction) from Warwick University, United Kingdom.
