Sweta Shrestha is a knowledge management and communications consultant supporting the South Asia Gender, Urban and Social Development team with the Social, Urban, Rural, Resilience (SURR) Global Practice. She has a practical and academic background in urban and community development with a background in sociology. In 2015, she conducted research on Temporary Housing Project with Clark University and a local non profit in Kathmandu, Nepal. Her prior experience includes data management and capacity building at YWCA's domestic violence and transitional housing.
