Syedah Aroob Iqbal is Research Analyst with Europe and Central Asia Education Team at the World Bank, based in Washington, DC. She has a Bachelor’s in Economics from Lahore University of Management Sciences, Masters in Public Policy from the University of Texas at Austin, and is a current Ph.D. candidate in Quantitative Social Sciences at University College London. She provides critical technical assistance for structuring national assessments in Uzbekistan and the Kyrgyz Republic. She is also currently leading regional analysis on teacher policies in Central Asia and structuring and evaluating a mentoring-based continuous professional development system for teachers in the Kyrgyz Republic.
