Syuzanna Simonyan joined the Doing Business team in February 2019 and currently works on the Protecting Minority Investors indicator. She previously worked on Resolving Insolvency indicator. Before joining the Doing Business team, Ms. Simonyan had worked on Public Accountability Mechanisms Initiative with the World Bank Group. Prior to that, she worked as a Staff Attorney at the American Bar Association’s Central European and Eurasian Law Initiative in Armenia. Ms. Simonyan holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the American University, Washington College of Law, International Legal Studies Program, and Law degree from Gladzor University in Armenia. She speaks Armenian and Russian.
