Takady Mamadou Konaté is the Senior Operations Specialist in Fragility, Conflicts, and Violence (FCV) Group in the Mali Country Management Unit where she leads the FCV analytical work, risk monitoring, and their relation to the development agenda in the Sahel. She provides hands-on operational support to help enhance the FCV focus of specific operations and their responsiveness to the fragility and political economy challenges in country.
Prior to the Bank, she was a Senior Public Sector Management Specialist at the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB). She previously worked as Project Director for Management Systems International in Mali and the Democratic Republic of Congo, as a Regional Technical Advisor for FHI 360 and a Finance Director for the Academy of Educational Development. Takady has experience in Asia, Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean in public financial management, public administration reforms, capacity and civil society strengthening. She holds a PHD from Paris Dauphine, a MBA from Willamette University and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics.
