Talita Pessoa

Talita Pessoa is a rising second-year student in the MSFS where she focuses her studies on global politics and development. She is the President of the Georgetown Anti-Poverty Society and a Fellow for the Center of Latin American Studies. Originally from Brazil, she studied Law at the University of São Paulo. Prior to Georgetown, she worked at the Brazilian Mission to the United Nations in New York on issues regarding gender, development and Science, Technology and Innovation. This summer, she is based in Buenos Aires, working with the World Bank’s Global Food and Agriculture Global Practice focused on digital agriculture in the region.
