Tania Abraham is an Extended Term Consultant in the Climate Change Group with specialization in mitigation, adaptation and disaster risk management. She supports the mainstreaming and implementation of the Climate and Disaster Risk Screening corporate commitment; and is also a key member of the Paris Alignment Secretariat for the Climate Change Group and the Resilience Rating System teams. Throughout her tenure at the World Bank, Ms. Abraham has worked with the Urban, Disaster Risk Management, Resilience and Land Global Practice providing climate change operations support and Green House Gas accounting assessments to operations teams working on solid waste management projects in West Africa; and within the Executive and Corporate Relations Vice Presidency Unit, she has worked to maintain corporate communications with civil society organizations for the Stakeholder Engagement Unit. She holds a Master’s in Sustainability Management from Columbia University’s Climate School & the Earth Institute; and a Master’s in International Development from Bristol University.
